A new edition of the "Coupe du Printemps" international figure skating competition is set to take place at the Kockelscheuer ice rink from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 March 2024.

The Coupe du Printemps is being organised by the Union Luxembourgeoise de Patinage (ULP) and the Club Hiversport Luxembourg Figure Skating Section at Kockelscheuer for the 44th consecutive year. The competition features on the list of the International Skating Union (ISU) and allows skaters to collect points in the world rankings.

This year's three-day event will bring together 124 athletes from the four corners of the world (26 countries) to compete in the following categories: Senior Women & Men; Junior Women & Men; Advanced Novice Girls & Boys; Basic Novice Girls & Boys.

The participants represent the following countries: France; Finland; Belgium; Netherlands; Italy; Great Britain; Switzerland; Luxembourg; Andorra; Spain; Estonia; Armenia; Croatia; Czech Republic; Norway; Austria; Denmark; USA; Ukraine; Hong Kong; Sweden; Malaysia; Mexico; Portugal; Romania; Argentina.

Three athletes are representing Luxembourg in the Junior Women category, two athletes in the Advanced Novice Women category and seven athletes in the Basic Novice Women category.

The organisers confirmed they would officially reveal the names of all the participants in the coming days.

The "Gala des Champions" (Champions Gala) on Sunday 17 March 2024 (at 18:30) will close the three days of competition.

The "Championnat National en Patinage Artistique" (national figure skating championship) is taking place at the same time as the Coupe du Printemps.
