On Tuesday 27 January 2026, the Luxembourg Olympic and Sporting Committee (COSL) announced that alpine skiers Gwyneth Ten Raa and Matthieu Osch will represent the Grand Duchy at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

The COSL Board of Directors took the decision following the quota place allocation process and based on the eligibility criterion of 40 FIS points set by the committee.

20-year-old Gwyneth Ten Raa will compete in slalom and giant slalom. A member of the COSL elite squad since 2022, Milano Cortina 2026 will mark her second Olympic appearance, following her debut at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, where she represented Luxembourg in both disciplines and served as the country’s flag bearer during the opening ceremony.

26-year-old Matthieu Osch will also compete in slalom and giant slalom. He has been part of the COSL elite squad since 2019 and will take part in his third Olympic Games, after PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022. His career highlights include a 27th-place finish in slalom at the 2025 World Cup event in Val d’Isère, a 28th place in slalom at the 2021 World Championships in Cortina, and a 28th place in giant slalom at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.

The athletes will be supported by a coaching and support team consisting of Yves de Roche, Patrick Emptaz-Colomb, André Somweber and Roger Ten Raa.

The COSL also confirmed that Raymond Conzemius, Technical Director of the committee, will act as Head of Mission for Team Lëtzebuerg at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. The Luxembourg delegation will consist of a total of fourteen members.
