Luxembourg's Ministry of Education, Children and Youth has announced the publication of the 2020-21 adult education and training catalogue.

The COVID-19 crisis has accelerated the evolution towards more flexible, accessible and digital adult education. The latest catalogue of adult education has been redesigned and restructured to provide all the information needed to organise classrooms and distance learning.

The printed catalogue features an overview of the course offer and contact details for secondary schools, municipalities and associations providing education and training for adults in Luxembourg. It offers a step-by-step guide towards the realisation of adult training projects.

The catalogue also includes information on the second qualification path and the possibility of obtaining recognised diplomas as an adult. Thus, from September, an e-5th grade will be offered which gives access to the upper cycle of secondary studies and vocational training, alongside the proposed e-baccalaureate for classes from 4th to 1st grade in classic and general secondary education.

A wide range of courses is devoted to the fields of arts and crafts, languages, science and economics and the environment, social sciences and well-being, as well as digital skills.

The 2020-21 catalogue can be consulted on the ministry's website www.men.lu, taken directly from the ministry, secondary schools, municipalities and training providers or ordered via email: sfa@men.lu. The lifelong-learning.lu portal also presents the continuously updated offer with all the details.

Adult training advisers are available if necessary and can be contacted via the above email address or via tel.: 8002-4488.
