The Agence pour le Développement de l'Emploi (ADEM) and the Chambre des Salariés (CSL) today announced that they have collaborated in order to enhance accessibility to training for job seekers.
Both institutions have united in setting terms allowing job seekers free access to night classes and seminars offered by the centre for continual training of the CSL, the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Centre (LLLC). Places will therefore be routinely offered to jobseekers offered with ADEM.
Entries must be done via the Formation service of ADEM, after the individual has set a realistic career plan and training needs related thereto, with the help of the participant's referent ADEM advisor.
The partnership conforms to one of ADEM's 2015 targets, namely increasing the supply of training for job seekers. Continual education is indispensable to better match supply and demand in the Luxembourg employment market.
"Following similar agreements with the Luxembourg School for Commerce (LSC) and the Chambre des Métiers, this new collaboration with the Chambre des Salariés delights us and we thank them for their commitment to job seekers," commented Director of ADEM, Isabelle Schlesser alongside the president of the CSL, Jean-Claude Reding, who emphasised the CSL's wish to aid the job-seeking process.
