The University of Luxembourg Competence Centre has announced the launch of the fourth edition of the "Elements of AI" course in Luxembourg.

The new edition of this free course is being launched in close collaboration with Innovative Initiatives (part of the Ministry of State's Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy), the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, the University of Luxembourg, the Digital Learning Hub (DLH), WIDE&Co (Women in Digital Empowerment) and the Institut de Formation de l'Éducation Nationale (IFEN).

Originally conceived by the University of Helsinki and MinnaLearn, a Finnish company specialised in technology, the "Elements of AI" course aims to demystify artificial intelligence (AI). The course has been adapted to a large audience and personalised for the Luxembourgish market.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, understanding the fundamentals of AI is considered more critical than ever. This comprehensive online and on-site learning experience equips individuals from all backgrounds with the knowledge needed to navigate the future of AI.

Building on the success of previous editions, the fourth edition of the Luxembourgish Elements of AI programme features weekly webinars with University of Luxembourg experts and face-to-face support groups dedicated to learners in Luxembourg, as well as a flexible learning pace and an online community. An immersive closing conference will take place on 3 April 2025.

Starting from January 2025, participants will gain free access to weekly content, expert-led webinars, practical workshops and, upon completion, receive a nationally recognised certificate of participation issued by the University of Luxembourg (plus a second certificate of completion from the Elements of AI online course).
