Luxair has announced the cancellation of several flights between Luxembourg and Berlin on Wednesday 18 March 2026 due to industrial action at Berlin Airport.

According to the airline, airport workers in Berlin have called a strike for the entire operational day, meaning no planned commercial flights will be able to land or take off. As a result, Luxair has cancelled flights LG9471 and LG9472 (Luxembourg–Berlin–Luxembourg), as well as LG9473 and LG9474 on the same route.

Luxair noted that it is closely monitoring the situation and has taken all possible steps to minimise disruption and maintain the smoothest service possible. The airline confirmed that all affected passengers will be contacted directly and offered alternative travel solutions.

Luxair apologised for the inconvenience caused and thanked passengers for their understanding, stressing that while it “makes every effort to maintain regular flight operations”, safety “remains the airline’s top priority”, adding that industrial action may occasionally affect operations despite all efforts to keep schedules running normally.
