Luxair has reported that one of its flights to Dublin had to return to Luxembourg Airport following a technical incident on Friday 29 November 2024.
Luxair flight LG4883 from Luxembourg to Dublin encountered a technical incident during the flight. The Luxair De Havilland Q400, registered LX-LGG, landed at Luxembourg Airport in Findel "without any problem". Luxair added that the captain and crew had informed passengers of the change and stressed that "their safety was not jeopardised at any moment".
Luxair organised a new flight on Friday afternoon in order to take the passengers to their destination.
The airline added that it is "making every effort" to avoid disruptions, but also emphasised that passenger and crew safety is its "top priority"; in some cases, "unforeseen events" may affect operations.
