On Monday 22 July 2024, Luxembourg Airport announced that it is expanding its parking options.
Since 16 July 2024, the new Parking Lot L has been open, offering over 650 additional parking spaces. Located 2 kilometres from the terminal and near the popular parking lot M, this new lot is connected to the terminal via a free shuttle bus service.
In terms of pricing, the new parking lot L is on par with the "Economy M" lot. Reservations for parking lot L can now be made in advance on the website www.airportparking.lu.
"We understand how important it is for travellers to find parking close to the airport. The changed parking behaviour of travellers and the loss of parking spaces due to the tram construction have prompted us to expand our parking capacities with the new Parking Lot L. Additionally, Parking Lot M is being expanded, bringing the total to 800 extra parking spaces this year. We strongly recommend that all passengers book their parking space online when reserving their flight ticket," said Alexander Flassak, CEO of lux-Airport.
With the new parking lot L, Luxembourg Airport noted it aims to offer its travellers more flexibility and comfort in choosing a parking space.
