Luxair to Launch Flights to Milan, Praia, La Palma & Ljubljana in Winter

Luxembourg flag carrier Luxair has announced that it is adding four new flight destinations starting from this winter.

Luxair is set to add the airports of Milan-Linate (Italy), Praia (Cape Verde), La Palma (Canary Islands, Spain) and Ljubljana (Slovenia) to its list of destinations.

From 29 October 2023, and initially with two flights per week (on Saturdays and Sundays), Luxair will land at Milan Linate Airport. These two new flights will complement the existing fourteen weekly connections to Milan Malpensa Airport. In just over an hour's flight, followed by twelve minutes by metro, according to Luxair, passengers can reach Milan's city centre from Linate.

The flights will depart from Luxembourg Airport at 07:45 on Saturdays (arrival at Milan Linate Airport at 09:00) and at 18:45 on Sundays (arrival: 20:00). The return flights will leave Milan at 10:00 on Saturdays (arrival in Luxembourg: 11:15) and at 20:55 on Sundays (arrival: 22:10). Flight tickets are already available.

In addition, Luxair is introducing four flights to Praia, from 18 December 2023 to 9 January 2024. The flights will depart from Luxembourg at 08:00 on Mondays (arrival in Praia: 12:55) and will return from the Cape Verdean capital on Tuesdays at 12:00 (arrival: 20:30). Ticket sales will launch on Thursday 27 July 2023.

From 9 November 2023, Luxair will also launch a new weekly connection (Thursdays) to La Palma, via Fuerteventura. These new flights will complement the existing ten connections per week to neighbouring islands (Teneriffe, Grande Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote). The flights will depart from Luxembourg at 11:10 on Thursdays (arrival in La Palma: 16:45) and return at 16:00 on Thursdays (arrival in Luxembourg: 22:40). Tickets are already available.

Moreover, Luxair is launching two weekly flights to Ljubljana from mid-September 2023. The flights will depart from Luxembourg at 12:30 on Thursdays (arrival in Ljubljana: 14:20) and at 09:20 on Sundays (arrival: 11:10). Return flights are scheduled to depart at 15:20 on Thursdays (arrival in Luxembourg: 17:15) and at 11:50 on Sundays (arrival: 13:45). Tickets are already available.
