Luxair Bombardier Q400 plane;
Luxair has issued a press release in which it apologised for "the flights that the airline has been forced to cancel as well as for the delays caused over this weekend".
The airline confirmed that, over the Pentecost/Whit weekend, a Luxair Boeing 737-800 "encountered a technical problem and the spare parts must arrive from the United States which causes important delays. Additionally, an aircraft, which Luxair leases from German Airways, also has a technical problem, which makes it unusable."
The press release concluded by stating "All of Luxair teams are doing their outmost to minimize the impact on passengers".
