ACL, Luxair Team Up to Offer Exclusive Members' Trips

The Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL) has announced its new partnership with LuxairTours for the organisation of trips for ACL members.

The first trip offered as part of this collaboration will be a luxury cruise on the River Nile. Following a direct flight with Luxair from Luxembourg to Luxor, travellers will board the 5-star luxury boat M/Y Alyssa. 

On board this ship, which was completely renovated in 2019, travellers can avail of amenities such as a swimming pool, a wellness area, a restaurant and a lounge-bar. In total, four categories of cabins are available to travellers. 

During the cruise, travellers will have the opportunity to visit many historic sites between Luxor and Aswan, such as the Temple of Horus in Edfu, the Temple of Ramses II and the Valley of the Kings. An excursion package is offered to travellers to visit these and other historic sites of the Ancient Egypt.

Throughout the trip, travellers will be accompanied by an ACL guide, who is available to answer their questions. In the event of a problem on site, they will be the contact person to find a solution as soon as possible. Egyptologists also come on board on each departure to provide information about the respective destinations.

Four dates are available: from 10 to 17 February 2022, from 17 to 24 February 2022, from 24 February to 3 March 2022 and from 3 to 10 March 2022. The first five reservations (per departure) will receive a free upgrade from one standard cabin (DZA) to an upper deck cabin (DZB). ACL members are entitled to a €50 discount. All they need to do is mention their membership number during the consultation.
