Lux-Airport terminal building;

Lux-Airport has issued a series of recommendations for passengers who will be using the airport over the Easter 2021 period, addressing COVID-19 testing, contactless booking and payment for car parking and additional measures at the airport.

COVID-Testing at Luxembourg airport will remain open during Easter, with prior registration recommended. People traveling from Luxembourg airport for their Easter vacation can take their COVID-19 test at the airport during the Easter weekend. The test station will remain open from Easter Saturday until Easter Monday included. Passengers that plan to be tested need to register online at www.lux-airport.lu/testing

Travelers can choose between:
- PCR test - results within 36 hours (location at parking garage A/B, level minus 1)
- Express PCR test – results within 12 hours (location at parking garage A/B, level minus 1)
- Rapid-Antigen Test – results within 30 minutes (location at the arrivals hall, level minus 1)

Lux-Airport set up the test facility to support safe air travel during the Easter period by enabling passengers to fulfill the required testing obligations. Passengers are advised to check the specific travel requirements with their airline and the country of destination’s official sources.

Contactless parking at Luxembourg Airport

Another action aimed at supporting safe travel is the possibility to book a parking space online on the airports' booking-platform www.airportparking.lu. Passengers can thus benefit from an almost contactless parking experience by booking and paying for their parking space online. To facilitate parking during these special times, the pre-booking cancellation period has been reduced to 6 hours before the planned arrival at the parking lot.

This enables passengers to adapt their booking to their specific travel needs by shifting their booked parking space to another day or cancelling the booking completely if needed. Please read more at www.airportparking.lu .

Measures at Luxembourg airport for a safe start to the holidays

COVID-19 protection measures are still in force at Luxembourg airport. For full details and further recommendations, see www.lux-airport.lu/covid19/. Wearing a mask is mandatory throughout the entire airport building for individuals from the age of 6 upwards. A vending machine from which surgical masks, FFP2 masks and disinfection gel can be obtained is located in front of the terminal entrance. Furthermore, it is forbidden to eat or drink in the entire terminal building.
