As of today, Friday 17 July 2020, third-country nationals residing in Montenegro or Serbia will no longer be allowed to enter Luxembourg as part of temporary restrictions on non-essential travel to the European Union (EU) during the coronavirus pandemic.
Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has announced changes to the temporary restriction of entry to the Grand Duchy based on European Council recommendations. In this context, third-country nationals who reside in Montenegro or Serbia are no longer permitted to travel to Luxembourg. Temporary restrictions for third-country nationals remain in place until 15 September 2020 inclusive.
The updated list of third countries whose residents are authorised to enter the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is as follows: Algeria; Australia; Canada; China (subject to reciprocity at EU level); Georgia; Japan; Morocco; New Zealand; Rwanda; South Korea; Thailand; Tunisia; Uruguay.
