SAS Scandinavian Airlines will be re-launching its direct flight between Luxembourg and Stockholm from early November 2019.

The route from Stockholm Arlanda to Luxembourg Airport will start on 4 November 2019, operating three times a week with departures on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It will be flown with 90-seat Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft.

The re-introduction of this route will make SAS the only airline to currently offer a direct connection between Stockholm and Luxembourg. Previously, both SAS and Luxair offered this route (the latter until 2017) before it was removed in recent years.

Karl Sandlund, EVP Commercial at SAS, commented: “Luxembourg is one of Europe’s financial hubs where there are also a number of important EU institutions. It is also a fascinating country and a capital city with a fine history that offers a rich cultural offering for leisure travellers. We are delighted that we can now offer our travelers a direct connection that they have been asking for.
