LuxairTours has announced that it has decided to suspend all flights to Enfidha in Tunisia for the summer season.
The decision comes in response to the significant wave of cancellations by its customers which followed the attack on the beach of Sousse on 26 June 2015.
For customers who have not cancelled their bookings to this destination, LuxairTours is offering, until 21 July, the possibility of either a free-of-charge cancellation or of a rebooking to another destination within LuxairTours' summer season catalogues, with a €150 compensation per booking. These destinations include the Tunisian island of Djerba, which remains sought after by its customers and which LuxairTours is maintaining in its offer while closely monitoring, in contact with the Tunisian authorities and those of the European countries from where its customers originate, the security situation prevailing there.
On 27 June, one day after the attack on the beach in Sousse, LuxairTours suspended its Enfidha destination until 12 July, after which they made the above decision.
