CFL intermodal, a subsidiary of the CFL multimodal group in Luxembourg, has purchased 50 new wagons.

With this purchase, CFL intermodal has invested in the development of its intermodal network in Europe.

The new T3000 double pocket wagons produced by Tatravagónka a.s. are suitable for the transport of semi-trailers and are equipped with tracking sensors that provide GPS location data in real time. The Track & Trace data is made available on the customer and supplier portals of the integrated CFL intermodal software: MIRABELLE. By investing in a new wagon fleet and in digital solutions, CFL multimodal is upgrading its services for combined transport.

The overall objective is to develop connections from the intermodal terminal BettembourgDudelange towards Central and Northern Europe and to strengthen combined traffic on the existing routes to Lyon, Nancy, Paris, Antwerp, Zeebrugge, Trieste, Kiel and Poznan.
