ALD Automotive Luxembourg has acquired a new logistics centre in the business area of Kehlen.

The new car centre, equipped with the latest technologies, responds to the growth of ALD Automotive Luxembourg's fleets, that is to say, the 13,200 vehicles in operational leasing and the 1,000 in the short-term (plus 4,500 vehicles destined for resale each year).

In addition to being the leading player in automobile leasing in the Luxembourg market, ALD Automotive groups several businesses with three distinct activities: operational leasing, short/medium-term leasing and an offer of smart mobility solutions that is constantly growing.

The short-term business began in 2000, before the company decided to develop its own rental activity in the short- and medium-term to meet market expectations and initiate a value-added mobility service for its customers and drivers. During the first ten years, this activity has grown considerably, reaching a fleet of more than 300 vehicles and boasting a growing offer based on a variety of models and categories of vehicles that meet the expectations of local customers.

The volume reached in 2010 required a new infrastructure: ALD Automotive's first "Car Centre". Located in Capellen, this logistics hub will help propel activity among the biggest players in short-term rental. Its configuration and versatility aims to ensure quality services valued by all customers looking for temporary and flexible mobility solutions.
