LeasePlan has unveiled its new strategy dedicated to fleet management and driver mobility, complemented by the appointment of Joel Fernandes as Country Manager.
World-leading vehicle fleet management company LeasePlan has deployed its new strategy in 32 countries in an attempt to put driver mobility in the broadest sense at the heart of its action. The global campaign “What's next?”, which puts forward LeasePlan’s goal of "any car, anytime, anywhere", was launched on 16 October 2017.
In Luxembourg, where the LeasePlan group has been present for nearly 30 years, management has been redesigned with Joel Fernandes having been named Country Manager just last month. With 10 years of experience at LeasePlan, Joel was previously headquartered in LeasePlan France in the Paris region. In the Grand Duchy, he will be assisted by two other experienced managers to deploy his strategy: Alessandro Tutucci, Commercial Director and Serge Cathenis, Operations Manager. The establishment of this local management team confirms LeasePlan Group’s desire to strengthen its presence in the Grand Duchy.
LeasePlan's new positioning "any car, anytime, anywhere" will be reflected in multiple upcoming innovations in terms of digital approaches, products, services and partnerships to optimise customer and driver satisfaction. This new strategy also aims to respond to companies' current challenges by optimising fleet ownership costs and reducing CO2 emissions, indeed aspiring to reach 'zero emission' in the automotive sector by 2030.
Moreover, LeasePlan has committed itself to the development of electric vehicles as the only automotive company to join EV100 (The Climate Group) as a founding member.
