Luxembourg-based European all-cargo airline Cargolux today announced the appointment of Christian Thiele to Country Manager Germany.
Christian Thiele, who succeeded Tony McNichol in the position, will assume the role in October 2015, wherein he will be responsible for the sales and marketing projects of the company's Germany branch.
Christian Thiele is a proven cargo specialist and executive in the cargo industry. In over 30 years, he gained a comprehensive understanding of the business by building his career from the ground up through documentation, ramp supervision and customer service. He joined Cargolux from Emirates SkyCargo, where he held the position of Cargo Business Development Manager Germany. His career in the air cargo industry also includes previous stints at Korean Air and Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport.
