The nineteenth edition of the Luxembourg Open Days (Portes Ouvertes Luxembourg) event, organised by communications agency brain&more, attracted 21,900 visitors over the weekend.
As reported by the organisers, 40 participating companies across 34 sites opened their doors on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025.
Among the most visited establishments this year were ArcelorMittal in Differdange, Heintz van Landewyck in Erpeldange-Sur-Sûre, Goodyear Mold Plant & Goodyear Mounting Solutions in Bissen, RAK Porcelain Europe in Bettembourg and Brasserie Nationale in Bascharage.
This annual event, organised under the patronage of Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy, offers the public (including families) the chance to discover companies, organisations, workshops, municipal structures and factories from the inside. It also highlights the diversity of local professions and expertise. Since its creation, more than 383,700 visitors have taken advantage of this opportunity.
The organisers noted that Luxembourg’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture, Martine Hansen, supported the initiative by visiting the “BIO-HAFF BALTES” farm and the IVLB (Interessengemeinschaft Vermarktung Lëtzebuerger Biofleesch Asbl) in Stegen on Sunday.
The organisers added that the Luxembourg Open Days is not only an educational event for visitors but also a way for participating companies and their employees to showcase the quality of their work, engage directly with the public and share their pride. It may also serve as an opportunity to connect with potential future employees in an open and informal setting.
The 20th edition of the Luxembourg Open Days is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 19 to 20 September 2026. Interested companies are invited to contact brain&more for registration details.
