Women in Digital Empowerment (WIDE&Co) has announced that it will organise "Future Makers: Create, Lead & Pitch", a free two-day entrepreneurship programme for young people aged sixteen to 21, taking place on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 July 2026 in Esch-Belval.
According to the organisers, the programme is designed to introduce participants to entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation through hands-on activities aimed at developing confidence, teamwork and leadership skills.
Over the two days, participants will work in teams, take part in creative challenges, explore entrepreneurship through virtual reality (VR), develop a project from scratch and present it to a professional jury.
The first day, taking place at the Luxembourg Media & Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) in Belvaux, will focus on introducing participants to the entrepreneurial mindset through interactive team challenges, a VR business simulation and the initial development of project ideas.
The second day, hosted at the University of Luxembourg Incubator in Esch-Belval, will see participants refine their projects with the support of mentors before pitching their ideas to a jury. The programme will conclude with an awards ceremony recognising the most creative and impactful projects.
According to the organisers, one winning team will earn the opportunity to represent Luxembourg at the international EmpowerHer final in Brussels from 8 to 10 September 2026. The programme will include project presentations, visits to European institutions, participation in a youth fair and exchanges with participants from other countries. All expenses will be covered.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. To register, visit the link provided by the organisers.
