Baloise, a Luxembourg-based insurance company, has announced that The Color Run will return to Luxembourg, after several years of absence, on Sunday 14 September 2025.

According to the company, the 2025 Baloise Color Run will take place in Luxembourg City for the first time. The 5 km route is designed to be accessible to all, including both children and adults, regardless of athletic ability. Participants, dressed in white T-shirts, will pass through “Colour Zones” every kilometre, where they will be doused in coloured powder.

As reported by Baloise, the event will conclude at the finish line with the traditional Colour Party, featuring a large-scale colour powder throw in a lively atmosphere accompanied by a live DJ.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Association Village d’enfants Luxembourg, continuing what Baloise described as its commitment to a “sustainable and inclusive future.”

Protect, support and take concrete action: this race embodies Baloise’s values, our desire to be a positive actor in society, supporting those in need and raising awareness for causes that affect us all,” stated Christine Theodorovics, CEO of Baloise Luxembourg.

Registration for the Baloise Color Run 2025 is now open via https://thecolorrun.lu, with early bird tickets starting at €15 for children and €28 for adults. The event will both start and finish near the P+R Stade de Luxembourg. Further details are also available on the official website.

The Color Run, known as “the happiest race on Earth,” is a fun and festive event that combines running with colourful celebrations. It was created in 2011 in the United States by Travis Snyder and aims to promote well-being, health and fun, rather than athletic performance. The first edition took place in Phoenix, Arizona, and was an instant success, inspiring adaptations in over 50 countries. The Color Run is known for its inclusive spirit, open to all ages and fitness levels. Often associated with charitable causes, it attracts millions of participants every year, celebrating joy, diversity and good vibes.
