Navratri Hindu Festival Celebration Announced

Gujarati Samaj Luxembourg (GSL) asbl has announced that it is organising the third edition of its flagship event, Navratri, on Saturday 5 October 2024 in Munsbach (185 Rue Principale, L-5366); start time TBC.

Navratri is a Hindu festival observed in the honour of goddess Amba, where devotees offer prayers, observe a fast and celebrate by playing Garba Raas, a traditional form of folk dance from the Indian state of Gujarat.

Navratri, meaning "nine nights", is one of the most popular and widely celebrated festivals across India. Every year, in Luxembourg, more than 300 people, particularly from Gujarati community and the wider Indian diaspora, attend this event.
