The municipality of Kehlen will put on the bi-annual culture and art festival KUKI on Sunday 2 June 2024.

It is set to take place in the centre of Kehlen, which will be closed off for the stall holders. Many local and international artists and artisans will attend, as well as street performers and musicians. It is a family-friendly day set to liven up Kehlen’s streets, music hall, church, barns and garages.

The art exhibition will take place from 11:00 to 19:00 in the gallery "Bei der Kierch", in the local church, in the music hall, on the site of the distillery museum, in barns and gardens and in the streets of the village. A live graffiti event with a workshop is scheduled for 13:00. Activities and performances are planned throughout the day with Zykatok, Saxitude and Alessio Paoletti among others.

Children will be able to get glitter tattoos for free in the main street and face painting at the distillery museum.

Food and drinks will be provided by FC Kielen, the Keespelt band, the Kielen big band and by the “friends of the distillery museum”. Turkish specialties and African cuisine from community members of the municipality as well as a coffee corner will be on offer at the Senior Club.
