The Philharmonie Luxembourg has announced its "End-of-Season Party", a 100% electro evening taking place on Saturday 29 June 2024 from 22:00 to dawn.
The festivities will start at 16:00 near the Philharmonie in Luxembourg-Kirchberg with a pre-party organised in collaboration with Ultraschall Collective. Visitors will discover a continuous bar, a food truck village and 100% Luxembourgish musical entertainment.
From 22:00, the Grand Foyer of the Philharmonie will be transformed into a 2,700 m2 dance floor. From minimal to deep house, the DJ sets will follow one another on a stage set up for the occasion, intensified by video effects projected live on the big screen.
Headliner NTO (France) will introduce the public to an aerial electro style which meets other musical genres. He will be joined by musicians from the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Later, the young British DJ Yazzus will keep the beat going until the end of the night with techno with fierce bass, straight out of the underground clubs of Berlin and London.
This end-of-season event promises twelve hours of non-stop music.
The Philharmonie also confirmed that the Fräiraim Festival will not go ahead as initially announced from 28 to 30 June 2024. This decision is expected to allow them to devote all their energy and resources to the organisation of the End-of-Season Party.
The Philharmonie added that it will continue to reflect on its role (in close dialogue with local stakeholders) with non-professional musicians in the Grand Duchy and to develop a festival concept that is best suited to their needs.
Pre-sale tickets for the End-of-Season Party cost €25; tickets at the door cost €30. Ticket sales will begin on Thursday 18 April 2024 at 10:00.
