The 16th edition of the Luxembourg Open Days (Journées Portes Ouvertes), organised by communications agency brain&more, attracted over 21,000 visitors over the weekend.

The event saw 25 companies across 27 sites open their doors to more than 21,000 visitors. Among the most visited establishments this year were the Moulins de Kleinbettingen, Luxlait in Roost, Boucherie-Salaisons Meyer in Bascharage, ArcelorMittal in Rodange and the Z.A.E. Le Triangle Vert in Ellange which brought together seven participating companies.

Each year, the Open Days, held under the patronage of Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy, offers interested members of the public an opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of companies, organisations and factories, as well as to discover different professions, across the Grand Duchy. Since 2006, a total of 316,400 visitors have been able to discover the diversity of the Luxembourg economy through this event.

Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, and the Minister of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development, Claude Haagen, actively supported the initiative this year by visiting Luxlait (Roost) and the Moulins de Kleinbettingen on Sunday 18 September 2022.

The Open Days are also an opportunity for companies to get in touch with potential future employees in an informal setting.

Following its continued success, a new edition of the Luxembourg Open Days will take place on 16 and 17 September 2023. Interested companies can already contact brain&more via tel.: 268471-1, via email: brain@brain.lu or via the website: https://www.brain.lu/.
