As part of the My Urban Piano project which took place from 31 May to 17 June 2018, the Ville de Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) installed a total of 21 pianos in various tourist sites, parks and streets of the capital.

To support this project, the City and the LCTO had launched a contest rewarding the most original clips of a micro-concert or an animation around the pianos. On Friday, 28 September, the Mayor and Aldermen of the Ville de Luxembourg presented the winners with their prizes, shopping vouchers worth €500, €250 and €150.

As the participatory project of pianos in the public space met with great success again this year, the Ville de Luxembourg will repeat the project next year, with the pianos waiting for the pianists again through the capital in 2019.
