Today, Saturday 15 October 2016, the 2016 BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open tennis tournament gets underway at Kockelscheuer.
With play starting at 09:30, Luxembourg has two players selected as wildcards in the qualifying draw: Laura CORREIA will be up against Kristyna PLISKOVA of the Czech Republic, top seed in the qualifying draw, with Eleonora MOLINARO to play Lauren DAVIS of the USA, 2nd seed in the qualifying draw. Mandy Minella is already in the main draw.
During the tournament, which finishes on Saturday 22 October, the tournament's special guest will be Boris Becker, former Wimbledon Champion, of Germany.
