Luxembourg’s Gilles Muller defeated Argentina’s Horacio Zeballos in straight sets to move onto the 2nd round of the Moselle Open tennis tournament in a battle of left-handed servers; the two players have very contrasting styles, Horacio was non-stop movement compared to Gilles' calm and efficient movement.
Earlier in the day, wildcard Frenchman Julien Benneteau upset the 5th seed Slovakian Martin Klizan in the 1st round.
On Tuesday, the marquee matches feature Paul-Henri Mathieu of France vs Dustin Brown of Germany and qualifier Vincent Millot vs no. 7 seed Benoit Paire, both of France.
