Tango and Telindus have become the first operators in Luxembourg to provide their customers with 5G beyond the Grand Duchy's borders.

Back in October 2020, Tango and Telindus announced the launch of their 5G network in Luxembourg. From now on, customers will be able to use 5G when travelling in Belgium and the Netherlands. Since 16 December 2020, it is possible to surf at very high speed in the Benelux countries thanks to the agreements signed with Proximus for Belgium and Vodafone for the Netherlands. From the beginning of 2021, new countries will be added to the list.

The start of next year will also see the deployment of the 5G network in the most populated cities of southern Luxembourg and then in the rest of the country.

Luis Camara, Chief Consumer Market Officer of Tango, commented: "We are very proud to have internationally renowned operators such as Vodafone or Proximus as partners, allowing us to provide our customers with a high-quality, state-of-the-art network across the Benelux. 5G is easy with Tango!"

Christian Haux, Chief Enterprise Market Officer of Telindus, added: "We are delighted to be able to offer companies the possibility for their employees to benefit from 5G, whether they are in Luxembourg, Belgium or the Netherlands".
