Luxembourg telecommunications service provider Tango today announced that its My Tango application has garnered success with 45,000 users since its inception, paving the way for more innovations from the company.

The My Tango tool, launched in summer 2014, offers a simplified and intuitive navigation experience to allow users to retain control over their mobile subscription and access detailed information about their usage, available options and more. Tango is reportedly the only operator to provide its customers with a real-time view of their data, voice and SMS usage at a glance, with users able to activate and deactivate options directly and thus optimise their bill.

The telecomms operator has therefore collaborated with Neopixl to launch two more changes, involving a widget for customers to find out their mobile usage without opening the app and an extension for Apple Watch providing users with better control of their mobile usage.

Neopixl was established in April 2011 in response to a growing need for expertise in application development, and has since developed into one of Luxembourg's most innovative companies, having devised applications for iOS and Android. Tango reported that through a partnership with Neopixl it hoped to affirm its position as a leader in providing value-added, differentiated and smart telecom services.

Managing Director of Tango, Jean-François Willame, commented: "This application underlines Tango's desire to be at the cutting edge in terms of developing value-added services but more generally illustrates our strategy focused on innovation, transparency and providing our customers with "smart", well-designed and intelligent services."

"Tango's strong ambitions and rigour have led us to develop a tool that is truly unique and for which we have exploited the possibilities offered by current smartphones to the full," continued Fabrice Dewasme, CEO of Neopixl. "There's no doubt that we will continue down this path to remain at the forefront in this field."
