Swimming Club Luxembourg is organising the 30th edition of "Lux Master Open", a Masters Swimming event on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023 in the 50m, ten-lane pool at the Piscine du Campus Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg-Merl (40 Bld Pierre Dupong).
The event is being organised in compliance with the World Aquatics Masters rules and the FLNS regulations, where each participating swimmer must have a valid licence (affiliated to World Aquatics) to participate. A Masters swimmer is defined as 25 years of age, or older.
The age groups are as follows: 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70 – 74, 75 – 79, 80 – 84, 85 – 89, 90 – 94, 95 – 99, 100 – 104, ...
Races will be sum over the following distances:
- Freestyle – 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m
- Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly – 50m, 100m and 200m
- Individual Medley – 200m and 400m.
Registration (€7/individual race entry; €10 per team race entry) closes on Friday 7 October.
