The Euro Meet Organising Committee has announced that German professional swimmers Marco Koch and Philip Heintz have confirmed their participation in the 22nd edition of the Euro Meet, being held at d'Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from 24 to 26 January 2020. 

Since 2013, Marco Koch has been a regular guest at the Euro Meet and remains unbeaten in the 200m breaststroke event. In 2015, the now 29-year-old became World Champion in Kazan (long course), as well as in Windsor on the short course in 2016. A month ago, he won the bronze medal at the European Short Course Championships in Glasgow.

For his part, Marco Koch's national teammate Philip Heintz will be participating in the medley events. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the 28-year-old secured a German record when he swam to sixth place in the final of the 200m medley. In 2017, he became European Short Course Champion in Copenhagen and, in 2019, he finished fourth at the World Championships in Gwangju.
