On Saturday 30 November 2019, the International School Luxembourg (ISL) hosted over 250 swimmers in an inter-school Swim Meet being held in Luxembourg.

A total of nine schools were represented, with athletes from the British School of Brussels, Frankfurt International School, International School of Brussels, St.John's International School (Waterloo, Belgium), International School of Dusseldorf, Antwerp International School, Inter-Community School Zurich and International School of Amsterdam. All athletes demonstrated high levels of collegiality and sportsmanship.

In total, 290 swimmers were involved in 53 events, including 68 swimmers from ISL.

Hosting event posed a significant logistics and event management challenge: after school on Friday, 15 members of the ISL swim team set-up the pool and touchpads. ISL's IT Dept provided support on Friday and all day Saturday with software set-up and timing centre control. On Saturday, 17 CAS students and 10 swim team parents volunteered to be timekeepers and helpers for the day. PE Dept and Sports staff organised the starter centre and coordinated the swimmers during the event.

6 FINA-registered swim officials from the Swim Luxembourg Federation ensured swimmers abided by the rules during the competition.

Parents of ISL students hosted 52 students from three visiting schools on Friday night.
