According to a recent TNS Ilres survey, Season 2 of the Luxembourgish crime TV series Capitani, supported by Film Fund Luxembourg, created by Thierry Faber, directed by Christophe Wagner and produced by Samsa Film (Claude Waringo), broke all records in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
On RTL and RTL PLAY since 22 February 2022, the twelve episodes aired to wide acclaim from the Luxembourg audience.
According to the survey commissioned by RTL, Capitani's second season's number of viewers has increased by 42% compared to the first season.
232,000 people saw this second season, corresponding to 44% of the population over sixteen years old and 94% of people recognise the Capitani brand.
More than half of the audience is between sixteen and 44 years old, the survey found.
Like Season 1, this new Season has been acquired by Netflix and will be broadcasted worldwide this summer.
