LUkraine, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation that supports Ukrainians both in Luxembourg and Ukraine, has announced the opening of seven water wells and drinking stations in various towns throughout the Dnipro region in Ukraine.
The water wells were opened as part of the “Water to every Home” project, that helps to alleviate the potable water crisis in Ukraine.
Water wells in Mykhailivka, Tomakivka, Vysoke, Kyslychuvata, Chumaky, Apostolove, and Zelenodolsk are now operational and providing potable water to an estimated total of 40,200 Ukrainians.
LUkraine acknowledged the help of its Ukranian partners, Sky of Ukraine and the financial support of Luxembourg Aid and Development in helping rebuild communities affected by the destruction of the Kakhova Dam in 2023.
