The British and Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) has announced it will screen Hamnet on Tuesday 13 January 2026 at 19:30, at Kinepolis Kirchberg in Luxembourg City.
The screening, organised in collaboration with Kinepolis and Ciné Utopia, will be presented in English with Dutch subtitles.

Synopsis: Set in 16th-century England, the film follows Agnes and William Shakespeare as they grapple with profound grief after the death of their eleven-year-old son, Hamnet, during a plague outbreak. As a healer, Agnes struggles to cope with loss while caring for her surviving children, confronting the fragility of life and the devastation brought by disease.
