The British and Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) has announced it will screen “John Cleese Packs It In” on Thursday 13 November 2025 at 19:00, at Ciné Utopia in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
The screening, in collaboration with Kinepolis and Ciné Utopia, will be in English with English subtitles.
Documentary; 90 mins; 12+
Synopsis: The documentary follows legendary British comedian John Cleese during his 2025 tour, which visited sixteen European cities and featured 23 shows performed across six weeks. The film explores the comedian’s reluctance at the age of 85 to retire, the challenges of touring late in life and his reflections on a career that spans from the his early years in the student comedy group Cambridge Footlights to co-founding legendary comedy troupe Monty Python.
