BDS Luxembourg and Waassermeloun have announced that they are organising a Nakba Day film screening at Rocas bar in Luxembourg-Ville on Wednesday 15 May 2024 at 19:30.
The event aims to raise awareness about the Nakba (i.e. the displacement and dispossession of thousands of Palestinians during the Arab-Israeli war of 1948) through a documentary exploring this historic event.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with pro-Palestine activists.
The organisers are Waassermeloun, which describes itself as an "independent collective of people looking to spread awareness on Palestine in Luxembourg", and BDS Luxembourg, standing for "Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions Movement".
