Confucius Institute to Screen Chinese Film ‘Art is Dead’

The Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg has announced the choice of film for May for its Chinese Cinema Cycle, organised monthly in partnership with the Cercle Cité.

The series is an occasion for the general public to discover Chinese films and documentaries with English and/or French subtitles. For the selection of films, the Confucius Institute worked together with the Allers-Retours association.

This month, there will be a screening of the film Art is Dead by Zhou Shengwei, with English subtitles. The screening will take place on Monday 15 May 2023, with doors opening at 17:30 (session starts at 18:00), at Cercle Cité in Luxembourg-Ville (2 Rue Genistre; auditorium Henri Beck on the fifth floor).
