Morbier AOP Cheese Recalled over E Coli Concerns

On Thursday 20 February 2025, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced the recall of Morbier AOP cheese of the brand "Nos régions ont du Talent" due to the possible presence of E. coli (STEC).

The following product has been recalled from Leclerc supermarkets in Luxembourg:

Nos régions ont du Talent's Morbier AOP cheese, 250g. Barcode: 3564709172415; use by dates: 08/02/2025 - 29/03/2025; lot numbers affected: all lots; period of sale: 22/01/2025 - 19/02/2025.

There is currently an orange awareness level alert in place (i.e. medium risk/danger - be careful).
