POST Luxembourg has announced it will issue its second crypto-stamp in October 2024.
This stamp will consist of two parts: a classic physical stamp with a face value and its associated digital twin. The latter is an image that can be collected, exchanged and traded in the blockchain.
This new NFT stamp is the result of a collaboration between POST Luxembourg, Österreichische Post, PostNL and bpost and will be issued in the autumn in Luxembourg, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Claude Strasser, CEO of POST Luxembourg, said: “After issuing our first joint crypto stamp with Österreichische POST AG and POST NL last October, we are looking forward to continuing this exceptional collaboration in 2024. And it is with great joy that I welcome bpost to our ‘Crypto Stamp Family’.”
