The Thai street food specialising restaurant chain Pitaya has announced the opening of its first restaurant in Luxembourg near Place d'Armes on 7 Avenue Monterey, L-2163, Luxembourg.

To celebrate its opening, the restaurant treated the first 100 customers to a free meal.

Pitaya brings stir-fried dishes prepared in front of its customers. The culinary staff has put together a wide selection of fresh meals, including satay and Thai curries.

Damien Kropfeld, franchise owner of Pitaya Luxembourg, said: "Located in the city centre and within walking distance from Place d'Armes, this restaurant adds a whole new concept to the city's existing food offer. This location is just perfect for Pitaya's first milestone in our country".

Eric Lucassen, Marketing Specialist at Pitaya, said: "After opening more than 100 restaurants, including countries like France and Belgium, entering the Luxembourg market was the right next step. And Avenue Monterey is just the beginning, we aim to open many more Pitaya restaurants in the country in 2023".

The restaurant offers home-delivery via Wedely.
