As the end-of-year holidays approach, POST Luxembourg has announced the issuance of a series of two special Christmas 2021 (Noël 2021) stamps, part of the proceeds of which will go to the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.

This special holiday season stamp series, designed by artist Jens W. Beyrich, is a graphic representation of winter symbolised by two snowflakes with symmetrical properties.

As every year, POST Philately has chosen a special process for finishing its year-end stamps, which this year are printed in metallic and phosphorescent colours.

The issuance of these special stamps also pursues a charitable purpose: for each special stamp sold, POST Luxembourg pays 10 to 15 cents to the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.

In order to allow philatelists and collectors to obtain an exclusive postmark directly with the Christmas 2021 stamp, the POST Philately service will be present at the Espace POST in Luxembourg-Gare (20 Rue de Reims) on Wednesday 15 December 2021 from 13:00 to 17:00. The artist and creator of the stamps Jens W. Beyrich will also be available to sign letters and postcards on this occasion.

The Christmas 2021 stamps are now available in the POST Philately online store, at the stamp counter in Cloche d'Or (13 Rue Robert Stümper) and in all post offices.
