Luxembourg's food safety authorities have announced the recall of GEPA brand "Bio Schoko Cookies" over concerns that they may contain pieces of glass.
The following product has been recalled from stores in Luxembourg:
- GEPA "Bio Schoko Cookies", 150g, with the barcode: 4013320247808 and the expiry date: 21/05/2022.
The product in question was sold in Luxembourg in the following stores (although its sale by other operators cannot be excluded): Apadana Sàrl; Episol-Sanem Coop; Food2 Go Hollerich; Kulturhaff Millermoler; Welt Buttek Diddeléng; Welt Buttek Norden SA; Pars Lux Sàrl; Boutique du Monde (in Bettembourg, Diekirch, Esch-sur-Alzette and Luxembourg City).
If a foreign object, such as glass, is ingested, consumers are at risk of suffocation or internal injury.
