Following the recall of the Crottin de Chavignol goats' cheese from Delhaize stores in Luxembourg, Cactus has recalled the same product due to the presence of pathogenic E. coli bacteria.

The Commission's rapid alert system has informed the Luxembourg food safety authorities that the recall of Crottin de Chavignol goats' cheese has been extended to Cactus stores. The product in question is: Crottin de Chavignol (brand: Société L.H.T / Laiterie Triballat), 60g with the lot number L 033 09 and EAN Code 3184670010525. The product in question has an expiry date of 5 April 2019. Whilst the product has since been withdrawn from sale, it was distributed in Cactus stores across Luxembourg. A wider distribution of the product beyond Delhaize and Cactus stores cannot be excluded at the moment.
