
Schneckert Traiteur has launched two varieties of traditional Luxembourgish "Kniddelen" at Cactus supermarkets.
Schnékert Traiteur has just enriched its range of high-end ready-to-eat dishes with two versions of the classic Luxembourgish dish: "Kniddelen" and "Kniddelen mat Speck" (with bacon).
Kniddelen, a kind of dumplings made from milk, flour, eggs and salt, are prepared according to the original recipe which has contributed to the success of this Luxembourg specialty appreciated by adults and children alike. The ingredients, which are 100% local, are then mixed to form a homogeneous paste, before the Kniddelen are formed one by one with a tablespoon and poached in salted boiling water.
Packaged in 350g packs, Schnékert Traiteur's Kniddelen are now available in all Cactus outlets.
