Cactus supermarkets has announced that it will be holding its 15th annual French Wine Festival, Le Vin Au Quotidien, from 1 to 13 September 2015.
A total of 25 wines - out of a total selection of 150 wines costing between €3.50 and €15 per bottle - will be on sale at a 25% discount.
From 2 to 12 September, these wines will be available for tasting at the large Cactus supermarkets, including the main display at the Belle Etoile in Bertrange, as well as smaller ones at Cactus supermarkets in Howald, Bascharage, Ingeldorf, Mersch and more, allowing the public to taste these quality French wines at very affordable prices.
These "little wines" from France are from producers in all wine regions of France - Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone Valley, Southwest, Alsace, Languedoc-Roussillon and the Loire Valley. Present at the Belle Etoile, some of these artisan wine producers will be happy to introduce you to their produce, allowing you to replenish your cellar with new discoveries in a friendly atmosphere.
"Good wine does not have to be expensive!" according to Jean-Marc Hubertus, wines specialist at Cactus, who is constantly searching for affordable and remarkable wines that can be presented at this event. He added "France, with its diversity of terroirs and complementarity of its production presents a wide range of tastes almost without limit, our partner winemakers and owners represent the great dignity of French wine that produces quality. This year we added a new line with the vineyards of Sancerre. Our range of organic wines presented on this occasion is still in progress, totaling 19 wines."
