Trade Unions LCGB and OGBL recently signed a first collective agreement with Zeeman Luxembourg S.A.R.L., which will benefit experienced workers in the trade sector.
Zeeman Luxembourg, a textile company which operates a chain of thirteen clothing stores across the country, have signed an agreement which will automatically grant a qualified wage to employees who have gained ten years of experience in the trade sector.
In addition, the terms of the contract state an extra day off will be given after five years of dedication to the company, and an extra two after ten years. Employees will also benefit from a 20% discount on any personal purchases they make on items from the company.
The initial agreement will also provide a bonus in cases where no sick leave was taken during a year's term, as well as a work organisation plan starting 1 September 2015.
This collective agreement will last for a period of two years, coming into effect on 1 July 2015.
