On Saturday, Rugby Club Luxembourg (RCL) Seniors first XV started the second half of the season with an emphatic 90 - 7 victory over Darmstadt at Stade Boy Konen in Cessange.
The German opposition were unable to cope with their first experience of a synthetic rugby pitch to leave RCL with 6 wins from 6 matches this season. Earlier in the day, RCL U19s first XV avenged their 13-12 defeat at Standard Visé earlier in the season with a storming 142-0 victory to move top of Division 2.
On the road, results were mixed with the U14s unable to cope with conditions in Liége, to lose the match 0-46, their unbeaten record and 1st place in Division 3. Another muddy pitch in Charleroi contributed to a 31-14 loss by the U19s IIs, while RCL U16s produced the performabance of the day when they came from behind to win at Dendermonde 24-19.
